Graham personally donated $500,000 to the Trump campaign’s legal fund on Thursday night after the president filed a series of lawsuits in several key states....

The South Carolina Republican and Trump ally told Fox News that the boost to stimulus checks would be “expensive,” but argued that the $600 checks provided under the second coronavirus relief bill were “not enough” to help people in need. He also said he would support the push to repeal Section 230 as Republican Senator from Kentucky and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell tied the offer of $2,000 checks to the scrappage of the legislation offering protections to social media platforms....

His comments come as Rep. Liz Cheney (R-WY), the third most senior Republican in the House, continues to criticize the former president. This has seen some GOP lawmakers in the lower chamber move to oust her from her position as chair of the House Republican Conference. “Can I just say to my Republican colleagues—can we move forward without President Trump? The answer is no,” Graham said in an interview with Fox News on Thursday....

In an interview on Fox News, Graham told host Sean Hannity that he just got off the phone with Trump and praised their close relationship. “I actually like President Trump, he’s been very nice to me, he’s allowed me to be in his world, he allows me to give my two cents worth on issues when he was president,” he said. “This is his party,” Graham continued. “If you don’t get that, you missed a lot at [the Conservative Political Action Conference (CPAC)] ....

Commenting on the Biden campaign strategy, Graham told Fox News host Sean Hannity: “He can’t carry the message for five or six days. President [Donald] Trump is working his ass off, going all over the country with a lot of energy.
