Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department detective Neil Kimball, 46, of Agoura, California, was handed the maximum sentence after he pleaded guilty to committing a lewd act on a 15-year-old child and unlawful sexual intercourse, the Ventura County District Attorney’s Office said in statement. Kimball met the victim in 2017 while he was working as detective with the Special Victim’s Unit of the Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department.
