On Sunday, a little girl took the wrong route to get off the field, and ran in front of Stephen Strasburg just as he was about to throw a warmup pitch. Luckily, he saw her and didn’t throw the ball.

Perhaps Strasburg was rattled, because he gave up a home run to Gregor Blanco on the very first at-bat of the game.
But then again, Strasburg has given up more first inning home runs this year than any other pitcher in professional baseball.
