Lions Cowboys Props Top Receivers On Display

Johnson (94.5 receiving yards) and Bryant (86.5 receiving yards) are the Westgate Las Vegas SuperBook’s props board, and we’re siding with the UNDER on each.

Each receiver is obviously capable of posting huge numbers, but Johnson and quarterback Matthew Stafford just haven’t been able to click this season. He’s been held under 94.5 receiving yards in eight of 13 games this season. Part of that disconnect is due to an ankle injury Johnson suffered midseason, but we still like the conservative play considering the Cowboys have allowed a receiver to top 94.5 receiving yards on only seven occasions.

The Lions also have allowed a receiver to go over 86.5 yards on only seven occasions. That, combined with Dallas’ commitment to establishing the ground game behind DeMarco Murray lead us to the UNDER.

Sporting News’ Fantasy Source staff likes both Bryant and Johnson, ranking them No. 1 and 3 , respectively, ahead of this weekend’s action, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they expect either to hit the OVER. Receptions and touchdowns can be just as important in fantasy football.
