Of course, Messi got the superstar treatment from the Wizards. He signed a few basketballs, and they gave him a personalized Wizards jersey in return.
Messi also met Wizards great Gheorghe Muresan, who is slightly taller than the Argentine striker. FC Barcelona lists Messi at 5-7, and Muresan stands exactly 2 feet taller at 7-7.

But Argentina’s presence at the game didn’t inspire the hosts to victory as Pacers prevailed, 103-101.
