Just a week after saying he’d likely be back in three to four weeks, the Bills running back is back practicing and seems to think he’ll be playing much sooner than that.

McCoy strained his hamstring in August, but returned to start the opener. He re-aggravated the injury against the Dolphins in Week 3 and has missed the past two games.

The Bills are already facing the prospect of missing starting quarterback Tyrod Taylor, so McCoy would definitely be in demand if he’s ready. So far he has rushed for 146 yards and no touchdowns in three games this season.
