It’s never an easy pill for fans to swallow when they learn a major star is sitting out of a road game because of rest. The Spurs have taken heavy criticism in the past for this. But when Gregg Popovich rests his trio for the second leg of a back-to-back on the road, would Tim Duncan, Tony Parker and Manu Ginobili head directly to the club following the game?

That’s exactly what James did, according to the New York Post.
Listen, James is free to do whatever he wants. He has more than deserved that right. But getting spotted at the club hours after sitting out do to rest isn’t the best look.
“He had security watching his table from behind,” said a spy. “Any time someone would start to photograph him with their phone, security would go over and talk to them.”
But the funniest part of this whole story is that James, who recently signed a lifetime endorsement deal with Nike, reportedly split the tab at the nightclub. “He paid for the whole bill with his card, but everyone gave him cash,” said one of the Post’s sources. “Just like I do with my friends.”
Just because James is en route to becoming a billionaire doesn’t mean he has to use his money to cover his friend’s late night expenses, but he just signed a contract that allows him to receive a hefty paycheck for the rest of his entire life.
Also, the idea of James splitting the bill is funny because that’s exactly what he did in the movie Trainwreck.
