In his announcement through SI.com, James thanked Heat president Pat Riley and owner Micky Arison for a great four years. The Heat organization sent out an Instragram post thanking James for the memories, and he responded by posting the same photo to his account with the words, “Thank you as well!! Memories I’ll never forget.”
