The folks at 2K Sports revealed LeBron’s latest player rating Monday afternoon ahead of the release of “NBA 2K19,” and the Lakers star is once again at the top of the class. James earned a 98, a one-point boost to his Overall rating from “NBA 2K18.”

James was satisfied with that number, saying the rating isn’t too bad “for such an old head.”
With the top possible rating being a 99, it’s likely James remains ahead of other NBA stars like Kevin Durant, Stephen Curry, James Harden and “NBA 2K19” cover athlete Giannis Antetokounmpo. James will be featured on the cover for the special 20th anniversary edition.

“NBA 2K19” will be released on Sept. 11, but if you can’t wait that long, the special edition will allow you to play starting Sept. 7.
