Well as it turns out, if Davis had really gotten his way, the Raiders may not have gone from Northern to Southern California, but instead one state east — Nevada.

That’s right, according to former Raiders quarterback David Humm, Davis would’ve relocated the Raiders to Las Vegas.
“He would have loved to have moved the Raiders here. He told that many times. … He loved this town,” Humm told Norm Clarke of the Las Vegas Review-Journal. Clarke added that Davis would spend his birthdays in Vegas almost every year.
“But there’s no way commissioner Pete Rozelle would have allowed it because of the sports books and gambling,” Humm said.
Yes, Humm is probably right. But the prospect of an NFL team — particularly the Raiders — in Vegas is pretty fun to think about.
