The second-year Duke product has averaged 3.8 points and 2.9 rebounds in 17 games this season.
Kelly suited up for the D-Fenders on Friday when the team hosted Bakersfield. He scored a game-high 30 points with several of his Laker teammates in attendance.
The Lakers will embark on a four-game roadtrip on the East Coast this weekend. They will first visit the Knicks on Sunday at 2 p.m. ET.
