His actual play was a more realistic display than most expected, as Bryant struggled at times in the Lakers' 106-94 loss to the Toronto Raptors, who were without Rudy Gay.

Bryant ended the night with nine points, eight rebounds, four assists and eight turnovers. After this performance, Bryant was none too impressed. He was extremely critical of his play, saying that he "failed miserably" at handling the ball and pointing out other flaws.
