Guard D’Angelo Russell, the No. 2 overall pick of the 2015 NBA Draft, exited Tuesday night’s exhibition after trying to stop a layup by Jazz center Rudy Gobert.

Russell was forced to go to the locker room after that hard landing. Fortunately for Lakers fans, it appears as if the injury wasn’t that bad, though he will not return to the game.
That doesn’t change the fact that Russell likely won’t hear the end of it after the first rough encounter of his NBA career.
