Kyle Kuzma will make his return for Los Angeles on Friday vs. the Mavericks, according to The Athletic.

Kuzma has missed the first four games of the season with a stress reaction in his left ankle.

He averaged 18.7 points and 5.5 rebounds in 2018-19, LeBron James’ first year with Los Angeles.

The 24-year-old will be a valuable asset for the Lakers this year as he will allow the team to spread the ball out a bit and give James another option on offense.

He also is a long player who can help out defensively.

Having him in the lineup next to James and Anthony Davis will present a difficult challenge for any NBA team.

Los Angeles is planning to work Kuzma gradually back from his injury.
