“I guess that’s what Phil does, gets guys to work hard and [get fired] up. That fired me up," Porzingis said of the comparison, via ESPN. “I’m like, I’m not Shawn Bradley, you know.”

Bradley was the second overall pick in the 1993 draft. He wasn’t even a bad player. He was in the league for 12 seasons and is currently 14th all-time in NBA career blocks with 2,119. While he was a solid player, he was never exactly a “star” and that’s what upset Porzingis.

“I want to be better than Shawn Bradley, obviously, and be stronger than him, but I’m a different player," he said.

There are some comparisons to be made between the two. Bradley was listed at 7-6, 235 pounds while Porzingis is 7-1, 220 pounds. They’re both tall guys, and that was essentially the point Jackson was trying to make when he made his original comments.
