Bryant passed Hall of Famer Billy Williams and Geovany Soto, each of whom drove in 86 runs during their respective rookie seasons in 1961 and 2008. Williams and Soto each won the National League Rookie of the Year.

Bryant still has some work to do to accomplish that feat, but he leads all rookies in RBIs, slugging percentage, on-base percentage, OPS and game-winning RBIs. And his 23 home runs are just one behind Dodgers outfielder Joc Pederson for the rookie lead.
