Kings center Kosta Koufos found himself in that exact situation Wednesday night after he went up top looking to slap hands with his buddy DeMarcus Cousins. The connection never came. Koufos waited as long as he could but was forced to improvise. It was really the best way to deal with the pure shock of being left out to dry.
