Bryant, in his Showtime documentary “Kobe Bryant’s Muse” details how he used to wrestle with the possibility that he’d made a mistake by leaving high school for the NBA.

“I knew I could play with these guys,” Bryant said, as clips of Allen Iverson and Ray Allen flashed. “I knew I could compete with them, but I wasn’t getting the opportunity to show it.
“One of the things that I always used to do is get in my car and drive aroudn the campus of UCLA. I’d see kids hanging out at fraternity houses, walking around and i just wanetd to feel that. And then I’d even wonder, ‘F—, did I make the wrong choice? Did I f— up?’ I could be going to college and laughing and hanging out with these kids and having a good time and enjoying it but no, here I am.”
A great source of debate has been where Bryant would’ve attended college. It was a long believed that Bryant would’ve attended Duke, but in a 2013 interview, Bryant said he actually would’ve leaned toward North Carolina because of Vince Carter.
