The heartfelt messages of encouragement didn’t stop there. Omogbo shared a video from Kobe Bryant on Sunday in which the Lakers star tells Omogbo, “Your strength and courage is a true inspiration. Just wanted to tell you, I’m there for you, man.”

Omogbo will work through the grieving process in his own time, but kinds words from Bryant and others can help him find some small amount of light in a dark place.
