Scott told NBA.com that he sees rookie D’Angelo Russell, Jordan Clarkson and newly signed Lou Williams making up the Lakers’ new three-guard rotation, with Bryant likely playing small forward this season.

But Scott didn’t rule out the possibility of the two-time scoring champion taking his skills to the post to play power forward against smaller teams.

“Kobe can play one, two and three. There’s no doubt in my mind. And there’s some games. against some teams, where he’ll probably play four,” coach Byron Scott said. “With his tenaciousness, the way he guards people and when his mind is set, if I say ‘Kobe, you’ve got him,’ he takes that as a challenge.”

With newly acquired Brandon Bass and Roy Hibbert joining Julius Randle down low, its hard to imagine Bryant down low, but if anyone can pull it off it is the Black Mamba.
