Four days after the loss, the Kings have officially protested the result and are asking the NBA to review the tape, per an official NBA release.

NBA rules state that .3 seconds is the least amount of time a player has to successfully attempt a shot. Known as the “Trent Tucker rule,” a basketball can only be tipped in if less than .3 seconds remain. The Kings are arguing that Lee’s shot came with less than .3 seconds remaining, meaning it should not have counted.

Then again, perhaps the Kings are just upset that they blew a 26-point lead.
