Keyshawn Johnson Jr. Won T Be A Trojan Like His Father

We don’t know how successful his four-star, wide receiver son Keyshawn Jr. will be, but we do know he’ll take a different path.

On Wednesday, Johnson announced he will attend Nebraska in a Bleacher Report video.

A 6-1 receiver from Calabasas High School in Mission Viejo, California, Johnson chose the Huskers over USC, Ohio State and Alabama, among others. 

Before you start wondering how a kid from California whose dad played at USC ends up at Nebraska, there is a strong tie. Nebraska coach Mike Riley was Keyshawn Johnson’s position coach at USC.

Also, Johnson will join former Calabasas teammate Marquel Dismuke in Lincoln. Dismuke, a four-star safety, signed with the Huskers as part of the 2016 class.

According to 247Sports.com, Johnson is a four-star prospect ranked No. 27 at receiver and No. 220 overall in the 2017 class.
